Attention
The width of the cuff should be 40
%
(or 50% for neonates) of the circumference of the limb,
or 2/3 of the length of the upper arm. The length of the inflated part of the cuff should be long
enough to wrap 50
~
80% of the limb; a cuff of wrong size will produce a wrong reading. If you
have a problem about the size of the cuff, use a larger cuff in order to reduce errors.
