The configuration menu

 

 

The configuration menu of the MLS 508 summarizes important parameters and settings for 
the control system in general and for operating the individual sensor types in particular. 
In addition, you will find information on the different calibration procedures for all sensors 
used in the system and the machine hydraulics. 
 
 
 
To enter the 

configuration menu 

press the function 

key F4

8.4.2 Min-pulse calibration 
 

In this menu item the operator can set the min-pulse, i.e. the smallest drive impulse required 
to move the hydraulic cylinder by the smallest possible amount. These settings can be 
carried out automatically by the system (only the two control loops left and right) and 
manually by the user (all control loops). Furthermore, an automatic min-pulse calibration
