7.3 Working with the Cross Slope sensor 

7.3.1 Mounting and setting up 

The Cross Slope sensor measures the cross slope of the milling drum and therefore, 
depending on the machine, is mounted on a part of the machine which carries out all 
slope changes in the same way as the milling drum. 
 
When choosing the mounting position for the Cross Slope sensor - at the bottom of 
the machine - it should be taken into account that the sensor should be protected 
from mechanical damage and that it should be possible to remove or reconnect the 
connector plug without any difficulty.
