8 The configuration menu 

 

Any change in the dead band’s size is automatically saved, along with the sensor 
type the adjustment was made for (e.g. Wire Rope sensor). 
If another sensor type is chosen during operation, the dead band saved for that 
sensor will be loaded automatically. The same applies in case a sensor is removed 
from the left side of the machine to be remounted on the right side and then is 
selected as the active sensor for that control loop. 
 
 
Setting the sensor dead band: 
 
1) From the working window switch to the parameter 

Change dead band

 via the 

menu items 

Configuration menu

 and 

User settings

. 

 
2) Select the parameter 

Change dead band

 and set the favoured values for the active 

sensors. 
 

 

 
3) Save the set value(s) and return to the working window.
