15.
Using personnel lifting equipment or scaffolding, pull
the free ends of the end panel over and around the end
rafter.
16. With assistance, adjust the end panel until the vertical
conduit pockets and the vertical conduits are plumb
and directly under the end rafter.
17. Attach the upper ends of the vertical conduits to the
rafter using angle brackets (#QH1330) and Tek screws.
NOTE:
Refer to the
End Framing - Back
drawing in
the
Quick Start Guide.
To prevent damage, zippers
should not have excess tension on them.
Do not stretch
the panel door too tight.
18. Adjust the position of the lower ends of the vertical
conduits to align with the vertical pockets in the end
panel if needed. Tighten all the screws in the tee fittings
to secure the conduits.
19. From inside the shelter, pull the end panel material
snug over the top of the end rafter.
NOTE:
Pull the end panel material tight enough that
it does not sag, but not so tight that the roll-up door is
pulled out of square.
20. Secure the end panel to the end rafter using half the
#CC6214 fabric clips.
BACK END WALL PANEL INSTALLATION (CONTINUED)
21. Space the fabric clips at 24'' intervals as you work
down the rafter from the top evenly side-to-side. Secure
each fabric clip with a Tek screw.
NOTE:
Install the fabric clips on the side of the rafter so
the Tek screws do not touch the main cover when it is
installed.
22. Test the zippers in the roll-up door. Loosen the fabric
clips and adjust the material if needed. Re-install Tek
screws in the fabric clips.
23. When the end panel material is secured to the rafter,
trim the excess material from the inside edge of the
panel if desired for a finished appearance.
24. Continue with Attach Roll-up Crank Assembly
instructions.
