DTC500 Series Card Printer/Encoders Troubleshooting Guide (Rev. 3.0)

Resolving the Card Hopper Empty Error Message

Symptom:

The Hopper Empty error message is displayed on the LCD.

Step Procedure

Refill the hopper when convenient.

Be sure to load cards with the mag stripe toward the rear of the Printer.

Turn the Card Sensor off if it is determined that the Hopper’s Card Sensor
cannot see these types of cards. (

Note:

with the Sensor turned on, the

Printer can believe the Card Input Hopper is empty, and cards will not feed.)
