Changing the Encoder Settings 

Use this option to choose the settings that coincide with the Printer's current encoding 
configuration.  Use the scroll buttons to select the option (you want to change). 

Step Procedure

whether or not a Smart Card Encoder is installed.

 or 

Installed

 according to 

whether or not a Prox Card Encoder is installed.

Position:

  This option is set according to the card size for which your Encoder 

is physically positioned inside the Printer.  (

Note:

  All DTC500 Series Printers 

are configured only for 

CR-80

 size cards.) 

Do not change this setting.
