• Do not climb up or down the ladder when wearing clothes that might catch on the
ladder (e.g. scarves).
• Do not climb up or down the ladder with objects in your hands (objects may be
carried in a shoulder bag).
• Do not carry heavy or bulky objects.
• Do not touch the ladder with wet or moist hands or feet.
• Keep naked flames away from the ladder.
• Do not insert foreign bodies or parts of the body between the moving parts of the ladder.
• In order to prevent the risk of persons or pets being trapped on the upper floor it is recommended:
• Before folding the ladder, check that there are no persons or pets on the upper floor.
• If it cannot be ascertained whether there are persons or pets on the upper floor and there are no other
accesses, install an alarm device on the upper floor.
• For ladders equipped with remote control, the user must always activate the ladder standing on the
lower floor.
3.3 CONTROLS
The motorised ladder can be controlled by means of:
• A wall-mounted key switch
• Radio remote control
• In both configurations the control is always type hold-down (the remote control button must be held
down or the key must be held in the “start” position to drive the movement.
3.4 DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
The motorised ladder is operated with the radio control provided.
3.5 LADDER UNFOLDING
The unfolding command is given by pressing and holding down the upper
button of the radio control provided. When the button is released, ladder
movement will immediately stop.
3.6 LADDER FOLDING
The folding command is given by pressing and holding down the lower button of the radio control
