1. INTRODUCTION
Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing a FANTOZZI ladder. The product you have bought is the fruit
of years of experience in the sector and has been manufactured using the best materials and adopting the most
painstaking assembly and testing techniques.
Following the instructions for installation, use and maintenance given in this manual will ensure reliability, safety
and functionality of our ladder over time.
This manual must be kept and accompany the product for its entire lifetime, including a change of ownership. It
must be made available to the maintenance technician before starting any operation on the ladder. In case of loss
or deterioration of the manual, please request a copy from FANTOZZI S.r.l. indicating the data on the identification
plate.
Upon receipt of the ladder, check that it is complete and functioning in all of its parts. Immediately notify the
supplier if you find any faults.
1.1 SYMBOLS USED
The following pictograms are used to indicate important information:
Warning Indicates conditions that pose a risk to persons, refers to safety
regulations, and suggests operating procedures.
Important information Indicates important information on proper use of the ladder.
Qualified technician Indicates the routine and scheduled maintenance procedures to be
performed in safe conditions by persons specifically trained for the
purpose.
Prohibition Indicates potentially dangerous behaviour that must absolutely be
avoided.
1.2 WHO THE MANUAL IS FOR
This manual addresses the users, the owner, and the installation and maintenance technicians.
The users may not perform the operations reserved for the technicians.
Everyone must read the parts of this publication that concern them in order to prevent harm to persons or
damage to the ladder due to failure to observe the use, installation and maintenance procedures.
