Long Term Battery Storage:
When storing your Falco e-­‐Motors battery for more than 2 months, please
follow the instructions below:
Ø
It is recommended that Li-­‐ion battery packs are charged between 70% %
80% before a long storage period.
Ø
Store in a 10C to 25C area.
Ø
The most preferable storage temperature is 20c.
Ø
Avoid long periods of storage when temperatures reach 45C or higher
Ø
Avoid direct exposure to sunrays and heat when storing a battery pack in
a warehouse.
Ø
Keep away from extreme temperature changes.
Ø
Keep away from condensation.
Battery Charging Procedure:
A full charge will take approximately 4 hours.
Ø
Make sure that the battery ON/OFF button is set to OFF.
Ø
Plug the mains adapter into the mains socket outlet and switch on.
Ø
Gain access to the charging socket on the battery by lifting the
protective cover.
Ø
Connect the plug on the lead of the battery charger to the socket on
the battery.
Ø
The light on the charger will show red when charging and will turn to
green when fully charged.
Note:
The mains adapter and battery can become warm when charging, this is normal.
