9   CONSOLE   &   BUTTON   INSTALLATION

The   console   is   designed   to   fit   anywhere   on   the   handlebar   that   allows   correct
use   of   all   other   controls.   The   mount   on   the   reverse   of   the   console   can   also   be
turned   sideways   to   allow   it   to   be   fitted   to   the   handlebar   stem   to   give   you   more
space   on   your   handlebar   for   lights   etc.

Step   One:

First   of   all   offer   the   console   up   to   the   handlebar   to   see   where   it   can   be   mounted
without   interfering   with   your   existing   controls.   Remember   to   leave   enough
room   to   access   tightening   screw   on   the   mount.   Also   make   sure   that   the   button
wire   is   able   to   reach   the   console   when   it   is   secured.

Step   Two:

Using   the   zip   ties   supplied,   attach   the   handlebar   mount   in   the   position
required.   Once   happy   it   is   tied   on   tight   enough,   trim   the   excess   from   the   zip   tie.

Step   Three:

Attach   console   to   the   handlebar   mount   and   fix   into   position.

Step   Four:

Remove   the   backing   clamp   from   the   buttons   and   put   buttons   into   position.
Once   in   position   refit   the   backing   clamp   and   bolts   to   the   buttons   and   secure
into   place   so   that   the   buttons   are   held   firmly   in   position.

Note:   Tighten   the   backing   clamp   bolts   evenly   so   there   is   even   pressure   and
distance   on   both   ends   of   the   clamp.   This   will   prevent   the   bolts   from   seizing
into   position   after   long   periods.

Step   Five:

Once   you   are   happy   that   everything   is   secured   connect   the   button   cable   to   the
Console   and   you   are   ready   to   operate   the   console.
