Choke
The nominal line voltage must be between 400 (1-10 %) V AC and 480
(1+10 %) V AC and the line frequency between 50 (1-4.0 %) Hz and 60
(1+3.3 %) Hz.
These CHOKES are supplied by FAGOR

Installation
The CHOKE must ALWAYS be installed at the input of the power line
between the - KM1 contactor and the regenerative power supply.
The length of the cable to the power supply must not be longer than 2 m.
Alongside the power supply, connect the output terminals U1/V1/W1 of
the CHOKE to the power terminals U1/U-V1/V-W1/W on the A19/X11
connector of the QC-RPS-
-
power supply, respectively.
Alongside the - KM1 contactor, connect the contactor output terminals
T1/T2/T3 to the CHOKE input terminals T1/T2/T3, respectively.

When using a CHOKE RPS-45
The QC-RPS-030-F
regenerative power supply must be installed.
When using a CHOKE RPS-160
The QC-RPS-160-
regenerative power supply must be installed.
MANDATORY.
ALWAYS install a CHOKE listed on the FAGOR catalog
when installing the QC-PDS system and only when there are regenerative
power supplies.
INFORMATION.
For QC-RPS-030-F
regenerative power supplies, the
power cable between main power supply and the CHOKE is a MPC-4x
multi-pole cable connecting one conductor per phase. The cable shield
must be grounded on both the CHOKE side and the power supply side.
Use the ground connection bar (GP-1) mounted in the cabinet for this pur-
pose. Connect the ground terminals of the CHOKE and the chassis to the
central protection ground point of the system.
MANDATORY.
The CHOKE RPS-45 has been designed to be installed
inside the electrical cabinet and in any direction. If it is located outside the
electrical cabinet, FAGOR will not be held responsible for any possible
accidents.

INFORMATION.
For QC-RPS-160-
regenerative power supplies, the
power cable between main power supply and the CHOKE is a MPC-1x
single-pole carrying two conductors per phase or one conductor per phase
dual section phase. In this case, the cable shielding will only be grounded on
the side of the RPS-160-
CHOKE side with the chassis support already
mounted on it for this purpose. It is possible the change its orientation by 180
degrees. See section,
CHANGING THE ORIENTATION OF THE CHASSIS SUPPORT
MANDATORY.
The CHOKE RPS-160 has been designed to be installed
within the electrical cabinet and attached to the ground. It has holes on its
base for this purpose. Be aware that this unit weighs 87 kg. If it is in any
other direction than that described above, FAGOR will not be held
responsible for any possible accidents.
