INPUT ASSIGNING
Card 460P and the input expansion module (MEI module) have a default terminal block input alloca-
tion, which is the one given in the electronic control unit instructions.
However, with the exception of input 1 of the 460P (which represents the OPEN-A input and cannot be
changed), a different meaning can be assigned to the other available inputs in accordance with the
rules and limitations given in chapter 12 “Input management” in this manual.
Time learning serves to determine the working and deceleration times of each leaf.
As the motors are activated during this phase, it is advisable to check beforehand that the automation
works correctly (by running the “motor test” under the Diagnostics menu) and calibrate the by-pass
valves.
You can quit the learning cycle at any time (with consequent loss of the acquired times) by pressing the
ESC key, which takes you back to the beginning of the cycle.
N.B.:
1) The time learning cycle is displayed only if the FAACTOTUM is connected to the 460P control unit.
2) The “DECELERATE” option in the cycle menus appears only if Gatecoder is used, or if deceleration by
time is used.
3) When the limit switches are used, the “DECELERATE” option does not appear because the decelera-
tion start point is determined by the opening of the limit switch contact.
4)
In the case of swing gates, the mechanical opening and closure stops are always necessary for
correct operation of the automation (even when the Gatecoder is used).
5) Leaf 1 is the leaf connected to motor M1; Leaf 2 is the leaf connected to motor M2.
