8.4 MOUNT THE TRANSOM
(OPTIONAL)
 
The optional transom is provided in the event of self-supporting
head section.
1. Insert the transom leaf in the opening of the self-supporting
profile

2. Keep the leaf lifted to insert the profiles at a regular distance

3. Lower the leaf onto the profiles

4. Fasten a central tie rod (not provided)

Use steel tie rods suitable to withstand a 600 kg load (the contact
surface of the cable with the self-supporting profile must be at least
70 mm

The number of required tie rods depends on profile length: arrange
one tie rod every 2500 mm.
