Pull the starter handle quickly, powerfully and re
-
peatedly, until the engine fires.
f
Push back the Choke lever.
f
Pull again the starter handle, until the engine starts.
f
Stop the engine by pressing the ON/OFF switch, to
switch off the ignition.
If the engine is warm follow the above mentioned
steps, without pulling the starter handle when
you pull the Choke lever and before you push it
back again.
WORKING INSTRUCTIONS
Follow the below mentioned points, in order to
carry out your work safely, without accidents and
injuries.
f
If you are tired do not use the brush cutter.
f
Do not use the brush cutter with bad weather.
f
Always hold the brush cutter with both hands, while
the engine is running.
f
Make sure that the area around you is free from ob
-
stacles, which may interrupt you while you are cut
-
ting.
f
Make sure that you are standing firmly and that there
is nothing which can make you losing your balance.
f
Use high revs on the engine of the brush cutter, while
cutting.
f
Use idle speed after work.
f
Avoid cutting at the kickback area 12 o’clock to 3
o’clock, since the brush cutter can be thrown violent
-
ly to the side, if the grass blade comes into contact
with a fixed object.
f
Make sure that the cutting equipment will not touch
the ground during cut.
f
Grass blades and grass knifes must be used to cut
woody stems.
f
The grass is being cut while moving the brush cutter
with sideways.
f
When trimming with trimmer head hold the brush
cutter in such a way, in order to cut the grass with the
trimmer line at an angle.
MAINTENANCE
Bevel gear
The bevel gear must be checked before use to
be filled with three quarters of special grease, in
-
tended for bevel gear use only. The grease is filled
using the tap – screw located at the right side of
the bevel gear (Photo 3).
Spark plug
According to the way the machine is being used (i.e.
incorrect carburetor adjustment, incorrect fuel mix
-
ture, dirty air filter etc.), carbon deposits can occur
on the spark plug electrode, which may result to
operating issues and starting difficulties. Check the
spark plug before taking any other action when the
brush cutter is malfunctioning. The electrode must
be cleaned and the electrode gap must be between
0,5mm to 0,7mm. Always use the recommended
spark plug type; otherwise, damage can occur on the
piston and cylinder of the brush cutter engine.
Air filter
The air filter must be checked regularly, and get
cleaned appropriately. Remove the air filter cover
and then the air filter. Use compressed air to clean
the air filter. The compressed air must only be ap
-
plied with direction from the inner area of the air
filter to the outer area. If the air filter is blocked with
dirt or it is damaged, replace it with a new one.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing
as waste. Machine, accessories and pack
-
aging should be sorted for environment -
friendly recycling. The plastic components
are labeled for categorized recycling.

date of purchase by the first user. Damage attribut

able to normal wear and tear, overload or improper
handling will be excluded from the guarantee. In
case of a claim, please send the machine, complete

ly assembled, to your dealer or the service center for
electric power tools.
