driven shaft assembly; it is shrink-fitted with

heat.

REMARK

When installing the fork, its longer bosses (A)

should be in the splined direction.

The 31 gear (2) cannot be removed from the

drive shaft assembly; it is shrink-fi tted with heat.

•

REMARK

Remove the ball bearings (1) from the drive shaft
assembly on both sides.

Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

When installing the cover, front wheel drive

cover and shift cover to the transmission

case, clean their mating surfaces thoroughly

and apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1206D or

equivalent) to them in advance.
