Error Responses
When the PowerCage 401 enclosure receives an SIS command and determines that it is
valid, it performs the command and sends the corresponding response to the host device.
If the command is determined invalid or contains invalid parameters, the Powercage 401
enclosure returns an error response to the host. The error response codes are:
E01
= Invalid input number
E10
= Invalid command
E12
= Invalid port number
E13
= Invalid parameter
E14
= Not valid for this configuration
E17
= Invalid command for signal type
E22
= Busy
E24
= Privilege violation
E25
= Device not present
E26
= Maximum number of connections exceeded
E28
= Bad filename/File not found
SIS Command and Response Format
Commands and responses to and from the individual boards are routed through the
PowerCage 401 enclosure. The SIS commands and responses for the enclosure appear
in the SIS tables (see
Command and Response Tables for SIS Commands
page 25).
NOTE:
For each specific slot device, refer to the SIS command tables found in the
specific device user guide.
To send commands to boards in an enclosure, use the following format:

To enter multiple slot numbers, separate each slot number with a comma (
