7.2 Cleaning / replacing the metal mesh filter
Warning: Make sure the device is turned off and disconnected from mains
power!
Please see
Figure 9 to understand the following steps:
1. Remove clamping ring and cover ring.
2. Open the light trap at the air inlet side by removing the four screws on the top and
bottom.
3. Gently remove the light trap.
4. Gently remove the metal mesh filter.
5. Clean the metal mesh filter with a vacuum cleaner from both sides. If there are holes in
the filter, bigger than 5mm diameter, please replace the metal mesh filter.
6. Reinstall the metal mesh filter and the light trap.
7. Gently tighten the screws by hand.
