7.3 Replacing UVC tubes
WARNING: Do not exchange broken or malfunctioning parts with ones that are
not accredited by the manufacturer because serious injuries and property
damage can occur.
WARNING: The maintenance must be done by qualified persons.
WARNING: Always disconnect the device from mains power while working on
the device!
WARNING: When replacing the tubes wear gloves to protect you and the
tubes. To protect your eyes, wear safety glasses or a face shield.
7.3.1 Removing old tubes
1. Open the light trap at the air inlet side by removing the screws on the top and bottom.
2. Gently remove the light trap. And the metal mesh filter (see
Figure 9). After removing the light trap and the metal mesh filter you will see the lamp
sockets. (Figure 11)

4. Gently remove the coupling nut (Figure 12) from the socket by turning it counter
clockwise and push the UVC tube gently away from the socket. Beware not to push the
tube against the fan.
5. The ceramic end of the tube is fixed by a holding clamp. (see Figure 13)
