6.3 Mechanical setup
The V1000E is designed to be installed by using the built-in M8 threads (max. depth of thread
18mm). There are two of those M8 threads on the upper and on the lower side of the device.

WARNING: Make sure to use correct mounting material to fix the mounting
bracket to a wall or ceiling. Also make sure the supporting structure (wall,
ceiling) is capable of carrying the overall weight
WARNING: Always use at least two of these threads for horizontal mounting.
When mounted vertically, use all four threads.
