working the panel loose in a clockwise direction
being careful not to flex the panel too much, which
could cause it to crack. Additionally, the panel is
a tight fit and you will need to be careful not to
scratch adjacent cabin woodwork as the panel is
lifted. Once the panel is removed, the hatch is
exposed and can be removed to access the bilge.
Galley and Sink
The galley is equipped with storage, a fresh water
sink with hot and cold water, a cook top, refrigera-
tor and microwave. Water is supplied to the sink
by a 12-volt pump located in the systems compart-
ment below the cockpit. When activated by the
Fresh Water switch in the helm switch panel, the
system will operate much like the water system in
a home. An automatic pressure sensor keeps the
system pressurized. The sink drains overboard
through the cabin and shower drain sump system.
See the Fresh Water System chapter for more
information on operating the fresh water system.
Daylight and fresh air is provided to this area by
an overhead hatch above the V-berth and opening
port windows on each side of the cabin. Additional
lighting is provided by lights above the galley that
are controlled by an ON/OFF switch in the cabin
switch panel. There is also a 120 volt GFI outlet
in the cabinet above the sink.
The sink counter tops are Faux Granite and the
microwave is built into the cabinet above the galley
counter. A large drawer and opening compartment
in the cabinet below the sink provides storage.
There is also a compartment for a fire extinguisher.
Cook Top/Stove
The galley is equipped with a single burner electric
cook top recessed into the counter. To activate
the burner, make sure the Cook Top breaker in
the AC breaker panel is on and there is nothing
but pots or pans on the cook top, then use the
touch control to activate the burner and control
the temperature.
A manual for the cook top is included with your
boat. It is extremely important that you read the
manual and become familiar with the proper care
and operation of the cook top before attempting
to use it.
Always be sure the burner is off and allowed to
cool after cooking before placing anything on the
cook top.

WARNING
THE COOK TOP IS DESIGNED AS AN APPLIANCE FOR COOKING
FOOD. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THE COOK TOP BURNER TO
HEAT THE CABIN. USING THE BURNER TO HEAT THE CABIN
COULD CAUSE THE COOK TOP TO OVERHEAT RESULTING IN
DAMAGE TO THE COOK TOP OR A CABIN FIRE.
