confirmation button for 6 seconds. To revert to the mains mode follow the same
procedure, by select SWITCH TO MAINS MODE. If the UPS is in the stand-by mode
or in the frequency conversion mode, the function of switching to the bypass mode is
not available.
Mains mode
In the mains mode the input current is rectified / converted by the AC/DC section and
then converted into stable output current by the DC/AC section and then supplied to
the receivers. If the mains parameters become incorrect, the UPS will switch, without
interruptions, into the back-up mode.
Back-up mode
In the back-up mode the battery power is transmitted through the DC/DC section to
the inverter (DC/AC), where stable output power is generated. If the mains
parameters become correct again, the UPS will switch, without interruptions, into the
mains mode.
Frequency conversion mode
The UPS may operate as a frequency converter and output 50 Hz or 60 Hz current
frequency (at the user's option), provided that the frequency of the input current is
from 40 Hz to 70 Hz.
If the UPS is operating in this mode, the available power is decreased by 50%. This
means that only 50% of the UPS unit's rated power can be used when the unit is in
this mode.
If the UPS is operating as a frequency converter, the ECO mode and the bypass
mode cannot be activated.
CAUTION:
The frequency conversion mode may be switched on / off
only if the UPS is in stand-by mode.
