7. Exchange of the pump
To meet the highest standards for hygiene and safety, the dispensers use a disposable
pump, that must be changed at regular intervals of 3 to 4 months.
Do not clean, do not recondition

Open the dispenser with the key
•
Turn the pump clockwise (approx. 20°), until the lock releases
•
Remove the pump, take the dispensing tip out of the holder at the sensor plate
•
Mark the new pump with the installation date, insert it and
turn it anticlockwise until it clicks into place
•
Place the bottleneck over the guide (on the bottom of the sensor base plate)
•
Insert the end of the intake tube into the bottle make sure the
tube hangs
freely in the middle of the bottle and is not kinked
•
Attach the dispensing tip into the holder at the sensor plate
•
Remove the key and close the dispenser
•
Operate the dispenser (hold hands under the sensor, trigger
several times), until the liquid comes out of the pump tip

The dispenser is ready for use
When (re)inserting the dispensing tip please make sure that the
quadratic part (between the two ring-shaped parts) is not tilted
and pushed forcibly into the holder. Otherwise the thinner part
of the holder may break and so damages the dispenser. When
observing this, the dispensing tip can be inserted easily and
without any effort
Before using the dispenser for the first time or after a longer period of non-use, the
tube can stick together at the position where the rolls in the pump head compress it;
this can be repaired by moving back and forth the visible part of the gear wheel on the
back of the pump head
Use only original roller pumps (patent pending), since only they can
guarantee faultless operation
– do not clean or recondition pumps!
The tubes for the 500 ml and 1,000 ml dispensers are of different length: The intake tube
of the 500 ml pump will not reach to the bottom of a 1,000 ml bottle, for example; in the
opposite case, the intake tube will be too long, but this has no detrimental effect.
A new pump can be inserted immediately; there is no waiting period to observe.
Please mark the pump with the installation date
