3. Definition of “ intended use” and “h andling ”
3.1 Intended use
The dispensers are suitable for the touchless disinfection of hands as well as for
dispensing liquid soaps and lotions. Especially with gel pay attention to viscosity!
The dispensers are designed exclusively for operation with 4 x 1.5 V AA Mignon LR6
batteries.
The dispensers can be used either as a desk unit or wall-mounted; ensure adequate
stability for the desk unit. Assembly must be carried out in such a way that there is
no danger to children.
Timely replacement of the disposable jet / spray / foam pumps e.g. with every bottle
change is part of the intended use! (at least every 3-4 months); do not clean and do
not reprocess! Different media must not be operated with the same pump
Environmental conditions:
•
Do not use the dispensers in potentially explosive atmospheres
•
Use the dispensers indoor only and in dust-free environments
•
Use the dispensers only at a relative air humidity of less than 90% and at room
•
temperature
Liquids
used:
•
The liquids used should flow well at room temperature
•
Check liquids of higher viscosity for suitability (gels or lotions)
•
Do not use abrasive or aggressive liquids, please use skin-friendly agents
•
Liquids other than low viscosity (alcohol-based or non-alcohol-based) disinfectants,
disinfectant gels, liquid soaps and liquid lotions cannot be used
3.2 Handling the dispenser
Observe the following information for your safety and the best device function:
•
Use only original parts or spare parts
•
Use only suitable low viscosity liquids see above
•
Empty drip tray to avoid overflow / risk of slipping
•
Observe the correct polarity of the batteries – see the specifications on/in
the battery compartment cover
•
Use of the dispenser by children only under supervision
•
Make sure the intake tube of the pump hangs freely in the bottle (not towards the
bottle wall) and the outtake tube is not kinked anywhere
•
Do not pull on the pump tube, this could block the pump
•
Use only suitable jet/foam pumps - spray pumps should be used only for thin
liquid disinfectants without additives (micro/nanoparticles)
