5.3 Dismounting
The supporting motor is easily dismounted when it is not necessary to keep it connected to the wheelchair. Remember to switch off the
power before you start dismounting the supporting motor.
1. Push the catch in and pull the control box plug out of the motor.
2. Place the manual release handle in the mounting position.
3. Loosen the gas piston by pulling out the quick-release lock and angle it up towards the back of the wheelchair.
4. Push the release handle in towards the motor and roll the chair forward. The auxiliary motor has now been released from the wheel-
chair.

5. After having disconnected the supporting motor from the wheelchair, lift up the pulling bar. The pulling bar is connected to the assem-
bly at the back of the chair.
6. To move the supporting motor easier, you may disconnect the batteries from the motor. Pull the quick-releaser while you are pulling in
the handle in front of the batteries.
