Privacy and Data Protection during assistance/support services 

The device provides functionalities to assure Data Protection also during assistance/support services, to 

avoid disclosure of Personal Data to unauthorized personnel and ensure data integrity and availability. 

Refer to section 17.8 for specific options 

4.9.2

 

Privacy & Security options 

When the on-board application is started the first time, the following prompt is shown. 

 

 

 

By pressing 

the “OK” button, you get access to the Privacy & Security settings of the application, where 

you can define a login password and customize the level and type of data protection. 

By pressing Cancel, you choose not to proceed with the customization of the data protection options; the 

message will be prompted at the next start up.  

The Privacy and Security options can be accessed at any time from the settings. For the details on each 

option, refer to section 17.8.
