OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Weight Brackets
Never use an attachment that is
heavier than the rated lift capacity of the tractor
3-point arms. Instability can lead to serious injury
or death.
The stump grinder has weight brackets on each side
of the frame that can be used to add weight for
increased down pressure on the frame.
Counterweights and retaining pins are not supplied
with the stump grinder or offered as optional
equipment.
The two brackets are each designed to fit two John
Deere 42 lb. or two 70 lb. suitcase weights. Other
brands may also work with the weight brackets.
IMPORTANT: The maximum allowable weight limit is
140 lbs. (63.5 kg) per side and 280 lbs. (127 kg) total
for the unit.
