1. Use the step, safety treads, and grab handles to
get on and off of the tractor.

Sitting in the operator’s seat, fasten the seatbelt.
3. Drive the tractor to the front of the stump grinder.
Align the tractor 3-point arms with the attachment
mounting pins.
4. Stop the engine and engage the park brake.
5. Connect the lower 3-point links to the stump
grinder using the provided pins. Ensure that the
lower arms are stabilized to prevent side-to-side
movement.
6. Check that the lower lift arms are an equal height
off the ground, and adjust if needed (refer to your
tractor’s operator’s manual).
7. Connect the tractor top link to the frame of the
stump grinder using the provided pins. There are
two holes in the top clevis. Use the hole that fits
your tractor hitch category and allows for proper
adjustment of the attachment.
8. Adjust the tractor top link so that the frame of the
stump grinder sits vertically on the ground.
9. Apply a liberal amount of all-purpose grease to the
tractor PTO shaft.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
After the initial set-up assembly is completed use the following procedure to mount the attachment to the
compact tractor for user operation.
