5.2 Hydraulic System

CAUTION!

Beware of the residual energy in the hydraulic system.

Make sure to release remaining pressure before doing

any maintenance on the hydraulic system.

Hydraulic oil temperature must not exceed 70° C (158° F). Use Shell Tellus 32 oil. Do not mix
different oils. The warranty on new Erin equipment no longer applies if hydraulic oils have
been mixed. The oil level must be between ¼ and ¾ of hydraulic tank thermometer window.
