MAINTENANCE

Under normal operating circumstances, no routine maintenance is required,
except routine oil checks and oil changes. As recommended in this manual,
unusual operating characteristics, such as noise or overheat, should indicate
further investigation.

After the first 50 working hours, check the tightness of the bolts in the

gearbox.

Oil Level

The oil level must be checked every 200 working hours.

Method of Checking and Filling

See lubrication chart for correct grade of oil. (page 8)

Move the machine on level ground until the filler plugs are in the positions
shown in fig. 2.

Clean the area around the plugs, to remove any loose debris.

Remove both plugs, and fill through the upper plug hole, until oil runs from the
level plug hole. Wait for a few minutes, until the any trapped air has escaped,
then re-check the level. Add more oil if necessary.
(Approx. oil quantity 5 litres, per gearbox)

Method of Draining

Move the machine until the filler plugs are in the positions as shown in fig. 3.
