5.1.3 Downloading Firmware
Here explains downloading firmware. This function is to copy bin file(*. bin), which is distributed by
EPSON Co. Ltd. according to the necessity.
Step1. By using Explorer, Copy the distributed bin file to the directory where adjustment
program(DscCal52) is installed.
Step2. Select DscCal52 and display the screen for adjustment program. (Same screen as
Figure5-3)
Step3. Select “Firmware” in the screen. (See the figure below)

Step4. PC screen displays all bin files that adjustment program presently possesses.
At this time, select “Open” after choosing the newest or newly copied bin file.

Step5. An indication appears to confirm selection.
Step6. Select “Yes”.
Step7. After 15 seconds of communication, the screen shows indication to complete
this operation.
Step8. Click “OK” on the screen.
