5.1.2 Initialization
Here explains of procedures of initialization. 4M internal memory of PhotoPC600 has following
values and space.
1) 5100K AWB adjustment values
2) Auto focus adjustment values
3) Program area
4) Available area for storing image data
Values of 1) and 2) above are automatically allocated and stored in 4 flash memories on the CA2
board. Therefore, these values are all erased when CA2 board is replaced. Also, since these
values are stored by signals from lens unit or CCD on the CA1 board, they will be invalid even
when lens unit and CCD are replaced. Figure below shows these relationship.

It is necessary to input AWB and flange-back adjustment values, in
case of replacing either one of the parts in the figure5-2. However,
performing initialization before inputting those values also has a
purpose of increasing creditability of inputting data.

This initialization is valid even when the camera falls into fatal
conditions.
Step1. Select DscCal52 and display the following screen.
