4.1.5.2  Installing the parts to the Rear Cabinet

This section explains installation of various parts to the rear cabinet.

INSTALLING TB1 BOARD (REFER TO FIGURE4-14)

Step1.

Fix the TB1 board to the rear cabinet with 2 screws 2x4(#103).

INSTALLING LCD PROTECTION BOARD AND VIEWFINDER (REFER TO FIGURE4-15)

Step2.

Refer to figure 4-15 and attach each adhesive parts to the specified area
accurately.

Unlike the completed camera, these spare parts have protection
sheets, like stickers. Peel off those sheets before sending back
products to the customers.

When attaching these parts to the rear cabinet, pay attention not to
dislocate them.

INSTALLING THE COVER JACK AND LCD SWITCH (REFER TO FIGURE4-16)

Step3.

Install the cover jack and LCD SW (monitor mode switch) from the outside of the
rear cabinet.

After temporary installing the cover jack, 5 dimples to fix the cover
jack can be secured by pulling the cover jack from rear cabinet
inside.

LCD SW (monitor mode SW) has a certain direction to be attached.
Refer to Figure4-16 and pay attention not to install it in the wrong
direction.
