5.1.8 LCD Gain Adjustment
PhtoPC600 changes its diaphragm automatically according to incoming light at that time.
When this diaphragm is changed, the images which are output from LCD, become brighter or
darker in proportion to that incoming light situation. In addition to this back light control, LCD
control circuit also performs Gain adjustment to each LCD elements of RGB in order to make
images from LCD vivid. Perform this adjustment when replacing CA2 board or LCD monitor.
The screen color gets too light or too dark, if the adjustment setting values are not right.
CAUTION
Perform section 5.1.7 “LCD RGB Offset Adjustment” before performing
this adjustment.
Step1. Select DscCal52 and display the screen for adjustment program.(Refer to figure5-3)
Step2. Click on an arrow located next to the LCD Gain window. (See the figure below)

Step3. Adjust and find an appropriate value so that width of rising becomes 4.0V
±
0.2V.
