4.1.5.9  Connecting ST1 Board and CA2 Board

Here explains procedure of connecting ST1 board to CA2 board.

CONNECTING ST1 BOARD AND BATTERY COVER (REFER TO FIGURE4-30)

Step1.

Fix the battery holder to ST1 board with two screws 2x5(#100).

CONNECTING ST1 BOARD AND CA2 BOARD (REFER TO FIGURE4-31 AND 4-32)

Step.2

Insert the connector(CN311) located on the back of ST1 board to the connector
(CN104) located on the back of CA2 board, and fix ST1 board to the CA2 board
temporarily. (Refer to figure4-31)

CAUTION

There is a great possibility of pressing the surface of LCD monitor too
hard, when inserting CN311 on the ST1 board to CN104 on the CA2
board. Since this may damage the LCD monitor, Hold edges of C2 and
ST1 board when you push.

Step3.

Fix CA2 board and ST1 board steady with 2 screws 2x5(#100) from front side of the
ST1 board.

Step4.

Insert the white connector(3-pin) coming out of the LCD monitor to CN315 on the
ST1 board. At this time, push 3 cables into notch parts of CA2 and ST1 boards so
that they can stay there compact. (Refer to figure4-32)
