Level 2 FIP (Fault Isolation Procedure

*Interlock route check

Is the voltage between P32-6PIN <=> P32-12PINP 5VDC?

• Close the FUSER ASSY, MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY FRONT COVER ASSY and check.

Go to step 4.

Replace the LVPS.

*LVPS relay route check

Is the voltage between P33-9PIN <=> P32-4PIN 5VDC?

• Close the FUSER ASSY, MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY FRONT COVER ASSY and check.

Go to step 5.

Replace the LVPS.

*MAIN HARNESS ASSY continuity check

Is there a continuity between J32 <=> J21?

Replace the MCU PWB.

Replace the MAIN
HARNESS ASSY.

*FUSER ASSY mounting check

Is the FUSER ASSY securely mounted?

Go to step 7.

Replace the faulty
part(s)

*MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY mounting check

Is the MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY securely mounted?

Go to step 8.

Replace the faulty
part(s).

*Power supply to FRONT COVER SWITCH L check

Is the voltage between J199-1PIN<=> P32-4PIN 5VDC?

Go to step 9.

Replace the MAIN
HARNESS ASSY.

*FRONT COVER SWITCH R check

Is the voltage between P/J198-1PIN<=> P32-4PIN 5VDC?

• Close the FRONT COVER ASSY and check.

Go to step 10.

Replace the FRONT
COVER SWITCH R.

*MAIN HARNESS ASSY check

Is the voltage between P97-1PIN <=> P32-4PIN 5VDC?

• Close the FRONT COVER ASSY and check.

Go to step 11.

Replace the MAIN
HARNESS ASSY.

*MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY connection source voltage check

Is the voltage between P91-1PIN <=> P32-4PIN 24VDC?

• Close the FUSER ASSY, FRONT COVER ASSY, TOP COVER ASSY and check.

Go to step 12.

Replace the P /H
HARNESS ASSY.

*FUSER ASSY connection source voltage check

Is the voltage between P71-3PIN <=> P32-4PIN 5VDC?

• Close the MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY FRONT COVER ASSY and check.

Go to step 13.

*MAIN HARNESS ASSY check

Is the voltage between J70-2PIN <=> P32-4PIN 5VDC?

• Close the MAIN P/H FRAME ASSY, FUSER ASSY
