3.2.12.7 LOWER GUIDE ASSY (PL9.2.13) Removal

Remove the EXIT TRAY ASSY. (See Section 3.2.13.1.)

Pull out the FUSER ASSY.

Remove the MAIN FUSER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.2.)

Remove the UPPER GUIDE ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.3.)

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the surface of the PRESSURE ROLL with

the P/R FINGER while removing the LOWER GUIDE ASSY.

NOTE: Make sure the FUSER EXIT ACTUATOR does not interfere with the

FUSER EXIT SENSOR and fall out while mounting the LOWER
GUIDE ASSY.

Remove the screw (silver, 6mm) securing the LOWER GUIDE ASSY. Slide
the LOWER GUIDE ASSY forward and remove.

3.2.12.8 FUSER EXIT SENSOR-1 (PL9.2.3) Removal

Remove the EXIT TRAY ASSY. (See Section 3.2.13.1.)

Pull out the FUSER ASSY.

Remove the MAIN FUSER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.2.)

Remove the UPPER GUIDE ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.3.)

Remove the LOWER GUIDE ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.7.)

Disconnect the FUSER EXIT SENSOR-1 connector (P/J 721).

Unhook FUSER EXIT SENSOR-1 from the FUSER BOTTOM PLATE and
remove.
