10. Cleaning and maintenance
SteamRock Basic steam generators must be regularly maintained and cleaned according to the
intensity of use. The built-in cleaning / descaling system increases service intervals and helps to
significantly reduce the expenditure and costs of maintenance and service.

Risk of personal injury and equipment damage

Maintenance of the steam generator may only be carried out by
trained specialist.
•
Disconnect the steam generator from the mains before the
service works.
•
The following maintenance intervals must be strictly adhered to.
•
For questions and assistance with service, contact your author-
ized EOS dealer.
Recommended maintenance intervals
•
Private use - once a year
•
Commercial use - at least twice per year or more, depending on intensity of use and water
quality.
The following maintenance work must be carried out:
•
Check and, if necessary, clean all hoses
•
Check and, if necessary, clean the drain
•
Check the settings of all filling quantities
•
Check and if necessary change the pump hose of the descaler pump
•
Clean the level sensor
Open the water tank and check the inner surface for calcification. Clean if necessary. In case of
noticeably increased calcification, adjust the setting for cleaning intervals or check the water
softening system. If no water softening system is installed, this may be necessary.
