In addition, there are other messages that can appear. These messages replace the normal
display.
l
“CHECK ECCTY SPEED” message - This indicates that the RPM LO setting is higher
than the RPM HI setting. See “CHECK ECCTY SPEED message” on page 30 for more
information.

“CHECK SPEED BANDS” message - This indicates that one or more active speed
bands are invalid or overlap. See “CHECK SPEED BANDS message” on page 24 for
more information.
l
“CHECK TRANS RPM RANGE” message - This indicates that the LO RPM setting is
higher than the HI RPM setting. See “CHECK TRANS RPM RANGE message” on
page 35 for more information.
l
“OVER LOAD” message - This indicates a problem with the tachometer input. It can
be caused by a noisy signal or by problems with the tachometer settings in the monitor.

“OUT OF RANGE” message - This indicates that the monitor configuration is outside
the dynamic range of the monitor. See “OUT OF RANGE message” on page 27 for
more information.

“SYS FAIL” message - This indicates that the monitor is unable to read the
configuration information from its internal memory. See the manual on 6600 monitor
troubleshooting for diagnostic information.

“VALID ORDER NOT AVAIL” message - This indicates that the monitor cannot detect
a valid reference when you select CHAN 1 or CHAN 2 for the CAP REF option on the
ECCNTRY submenu. See “VALID ORDER NOT AVAIL message” on page 19 for
