6.3. Function “anti-legionella”
The Split electronic control features the disinfect function, which consists of a water heating cycle at 65 °C
or 70°C, for a period of time long enough to prevent the formation of germs inside the tank.
The Anti Legionella function can be configured and activated manually on the “board” of the outside unit.
To program and activate the Anti Legionella func -
tion follow these steps:
1. Remove the top cover with the help of a star
wrench;
2. Program the microphone according to the fol -
lowing chart:

S1 – 3 Anti-legionella cycle set-point = 65°C. Anti-legionella cycle set-point = 70°C.
Note: After active the cycle Anti-Legionella is carried out weekly.
