4.4. Electric Connections
To establish the electric connection of the equipment, check these conditions:
a) The thermodynamic equipment must be plugged to the power supply only after filling the stor -
age water heater (see chapter “5. First Use”);
b) The thermodynamic equipment must be connected to a monophase voltage (230 V AC/50Hz);
c)The thermodynamic equipment must be continuously supplied to ensure the availability of con -
tinuous hot water;
d) The connections must comply with the standards of installation in effect in the territory or coun -
try where the thermodynamic equipment has been installed;
e) Earth wiring is obligatory;
f) It is imperative that the passage of the outdoor sensor cable is in the vicinity of the sector(s)
where the power lines of the outside unit also pass.
It’s recommended that the installation includes:
• Bipolar circuit-breaker 16A;
• Protection differential circuit breaker of 32A/ 30mA;
Connections to outside unit
Remove the wiring protection cover with a star
wrench.
1. Connection terminal for general power supply;
2. Connection terminal for supporting resistance
(inside unit);
3. Connector to connect the water heater cylinder’s
temperature sensor;
4. Connection terminal for the display (inside unit).
WARNING
Both the general power supply cable and the cable for the indoor backup resistance
are not supplied with the unit.
The cable section (general power supply and resistance unit connection) must be at
least 2.5mm² for a distance of up to 20m.
The cables for connecting the temperature probe (3) and the display (4) are supplied
with the unit.
The cables (3 and 4) have a distance of 20m.
The safety thermostat of the thermodynamic equipment must under no circumstanc-
es undergo any kind of repair outside the manufacturer’s facilities.
Failure to comply with this clause will void the equipment of its warranty.
