4.2. Refrigerant Fluid Connections
• Cooling fluid connections must be carried out by a qualified technician with a pro -
fessional certificate of capacity.
• The refrigerant connections must be insulated thermally to avoid burns and to
ensure optimum system performance.
The outdoor unit has a fluid pre-load R134a.
To connect the components, please note the following:
• The distance between the heater cylinder and outside unit must be as short as possible. The perfor -
mance and longevity of the equipment depends on this.
• The tubing should not have folds.
• The two cooling pipes that connect the units must be insulated separately.
• Use only R134a, to avoid mixing with another fluid, air or substance.
• The piping to be used must be copper, seamless, refrigeration type (Cu DHP according to the
ISO1337 standard)
• Use pipes no less than 0,8 mm thick.
• Under no circumstances use a sanitary type copper.
4.2.1. Distance between inside unit (heater cylinder) and outside unit (split)
4.2.2. Refrigerant Connections
To ensure proper functioning of the equipment, the
minimum and maximum distances between the inside
and outside unit must be met.
1 – Outside Unit (split)
2 – Inside Unit (heater cylinder)
3 – Maximum number of curves: 10
4 – Radius of curvature: 38mm
A – Range minimum / maximum: 2/20m
B – Height maximum: 10m
To ensure proper functioning of the equipment, the
