Check that the caravan is disconnected from the bat tery supply and t he m ains electrical supply.
Only use adapt ers and accessories t hat are supplied or recom m ended by t he m anufacturer.
Check that the tyres are not over worn and do have the sam e size and design ( fit t ing t o new or nearly new
tyres is the best opt ion) .
Make sure t hat t he t yre- pressures are correct t o t he m anufact urer’s recom m endat ion.
Make sure t he chassis is in good condition without any dam age and is free from rust , dirt et c.
St op work im m ediately if you are in doubt about t he assem bly or any procedures and consult one of our
engineers ( Please refer t o cont act inform ation on t he last page of t his m anual) .
Locat e the bat t ery isolat ion swit ch to be accessible at all t im es when parking and m oving the caravan.
Do not rem ove, change or alt er any part s of t he chassis, axle, suspension or brake m echanism . Any drilling of
holes in the chassis is not allowed.
Do not install t he unit if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or m edicat ion t hat could im pair your

FOR PROFESSI ON AL I N STALLATI ON ON LY! These inst ruct ions are for genera l guidance.
I nst allat ion procedures m a y vary depending on caravan t ype.
W orking under a vehicle w it hout appropriat e support is ext rem ely dangerous!
Please refer t o Fig. 1 3 for an overview of t he w hole assem bly fully fit t ed.
Place t he caravan on a hard, level surface. The use of a lift ing ram p or an assem bly pit is ideal for access and
personal safet y.
Unpack all the com ponents and check for the presence of all parts ( see package cont ent s list) . Writ e down, on
t he product warrant y regist rat ion card, t he 10- digit serial num ber ( t his is locat ed on an alum inium plat e on t he
side of one of t he m otor unit s) .
Clean the area of your chassis where you need to m ount all com ponents to ensure a good fit t ing.
Make sure t he caravan is prepared for inst allat ion. Check before inst allat ion t hat im port ant areas, such as
drains/ spare t yre et c. do not cause any obst ruct ion to the function of t he caravan m anoeuvring syst em .
Ensure bot h rollers are in t he DI SENGAGED position ( Fig. 10A) , as the unit will not fit correct ly ot herwise ( Note:
when fully disengaged, the point er is posit ioned in the beginning of the yellow area) .
Loosely assem ble t he left hand m ot or unit ( 1) , right hand m ot or unit ( 2) and m ain cross bar ( 3) ( Fig. 1) . The
nut s ( Fig. 1B) , on the cross bar ( 3) to secure both m otor unit s, m ust be no m ore t han finger- tight at t his st age.
N ot e
: I n principle, the unit should be fit ted in front of t he caravan road wheels, but if fit ting in this posit ion is
not possible because of obstacles or a too high hitch ball weight , it is perm issible t o fit it t o t he rear of t he
wheels by rot ating the whole assem bly ( Fig. 1) by 180° degrees.
Loosely fit the two clam ping assem blies ( 7) t o the chassis ( Fig. 2 & 13) and attach. Use t he bolts M10x60, nut s
M10 and washers M10 ( 8,17,18) and put them in t he diagonal posit ioned holes of the alum inium chassis clam p
plat es. Nut s m ust be no m ore t han finger- t ight .
Assem ble the pre- m ounted m anoeuvring system on the alum inium chassis clam p plat es by using t he two U-
shaped brackets ( 9) , bolt s M10x50, nuts M10 and washers M10 ( 16,17,18) . Nut s m ust be no m ore than finger-
tight .
Make sure t hat alum inium drive rollers of t he m ot ors are approxim ately on the sam e alt itude as t he centre
( axle) of t he caravan wheel ( ± 20m m ) . To com pensate a possible unevenness ( and lower the m otors) ,
