Close bleed-off valve and wait 1-2min. Verified that pressure is not
building up in the retriever? (If build-up, stop here and go to
troubleshooting guide. Note 8.)

Are locking pins tightened in a cross pattern in 3-4 turns?
(If more or less turns, go to troubleshooting guide. Note 7.)

The pressure in the retriever can be released. Is the pump set to
“
retrieve
”
, and the pump pressure show 0 bar?

Close bleed-off valve and wait 1-2 minutes. Is bleed-off valve opened
again, and no pressure has built up in the retriever?
(if pressure build-up, go to troubleshooting guide. Note 8.)

Loosen hammer nut unscrew it. Set pump to install and pump out
connecting rod until fully extended and pressure on pump is at least
50 bars. Is the head valve on the retriever closed, and the pressure in
the pump is released?
45.
Disconnect hoses from retriever tool and unscrew the retrieval tool
connecting rod from the plug. Is the lower service valve ball closed
to verify that the plug is fully installed?

Is the service valve removed from the access fitting?
47.
Has the end of the plug been cleaned?
48.
Has the top of the access fitting been lubricated?
49.
Have the threads of the access fitting been inspected and lubricated?
50.
Has the cover been installed?
Have the locking pins been tightened only lightly?
Have the yellow protective caps been installed?
51.
Has cable been reinstalled, if applicable?
52.
Has the work area been cleaned up?
