Device current simulation settings

The output current can be simulated by setting Volume (%), or Current (mA). This feature is useful for
synchronizing with the PLC and verifying of identical read values for both the Rosemount 5708 and the
PLC.

1. On the

Device

menu, select

Device Current Simulation Settings

or press

F6

.

2. Select

Volume

or

Current Simulation

from the drop down list and fill the value field, volume can be

between 0 to 100%. Current simulation settings can be between 4 to 20mA.

3. Select

Apply

to set the changes in the device, to stop current simulation select ‘Simulation Off’ and

select

Apply

.

The Current simulation status of the device may be terminated by either restart or power reset.
