11.9 FST examples
This section provides four FST examples.
11.9.1 Example 1 – Writing data to a history point
In this example, two historical database points are defined to demonstrate using an FST to create a
“history log.” In this log, data is written to history point 9 and a timestamp is written to history point
10 at five-minute intervals.
The following history configuration is assumed:
• History point 9 – Archive Type: FST Data
• History point 10 – Archive Type: FST Time – Minute
