Monitoring and Displays
6. Define tab order. Tab order controls the order in which elements are selected when the Tab key
is pressed. Tab order applies to tab controls, frames, labels, user-editable text boxes, option
buttons, check boxes, combo boxes, and buttons. There is no default tab order in the display.
Use either of the following methods to define tab order:
•
For each element, enter the desired tab order in the
Tab Order
field in the Properties edit
box.
•
Click the
Tab-Key Order
icon, then left-click the elements in the desired tab order, and
click
OK
.
7. Test the display by clicking the
Test
icon. The Display Editor window will show the display as
currently defined. Use the
Update
or
Auto Scan
button to view current data from the
Model 3711. To return to display definition, click the
Edit
button.
8. If desired, lock the controls using the
Lock Controls
icon. This prevents moving or resizing of
any element. It does not prevent changing text associated with an element. You can unlock the
controls at any time for further editing.
9.4.2
