Loud surrounding noise (e.g. when filling metal tanks) may disrupt the measurement.

The area must not be hermetically sealed so that
the filling level in the pipe can change.
If air vents are provided, they must be placed at
the level of the probe (rubber part) (in the figure
above the arrow). Openings in the area of the
measuring track lead to incorrect measurements.
