Reason
Power switch is turned on while foot
control is pressed.
Power switch is turned on with the needle
in the down position.
(A):The machine is started without
lowering the presser foot.
(B): The presser foot lifter at its extra
highest position.
The thread cutter button is pressed with
the presser foot raised.
The machine will stop if the presser foot
is raised while sewing.
If the buttonhole lever is not lowered, the
machine will stop sewing.
The machine was stopped before
lockstitch was completed.
Power switch has been turned on but
machine has not sewn when the Auto
Thread Cut Key is pressed.
Auto Thread Cut Key cannot be used
consecutively 4 times
Warning Messages
Three beep sounds will alert you to machine problems. The LCD screen will show one of these
messages.
What to Do
Release the foot control.
Press the “Up/Down Needle”
key.
Lower the presser foot and
start the machine.
Lower the presser foot and
press the thread cutter button
again.
Lower buttonhole lever and
begin sewing.
Start machine and allow
lockstitch to complete.
Press the “Auto Thread Cut”
key only after machine has
been sewing.
