Drive motor cycles off and on rapidly when

the speed switch is set to Normal.

Note: Always check wiring
to the components.

Remove the rear panel from

the console, set the speed switch to

Normal

and disconnect the wire from

terminal 5 of the speed switch. Measure

the resistance between terminals 1

and 5 of the speed switch.

Defective speed switch.

Defective timer

or wiring.

Disconnect power, set the timer

to wash, remove the front panel and

unplug the harness from the drive

motor. Measure the resistance in the

plug between pins 7 and 9.

Zero.

Defective

drive motor.

Infinity.

Remove the rear panel from the

console, set the speed switch to

and disconnect the wire from

terminal 4 of the speed switch. Measure

the resistance between terminals 1 and

4 of the speed switch.
